About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive strategic growth and deliver sales targets across strategic channel partners
  • Build and nurture customer partnerships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute account strategies
  • Advocate for customers and the business
  • Partner with Segment Managers and Key Account Managers to develop and implement customer relationship plans
  • Lead execution of customer-specific products, pricing, and brand strategy
  • Collaborate on line reviews and promotional planning
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and training sessions with Channel Partners
  • Develop and execute customer-specific strategies and presentations
  • Serve as point of contact for customer inquiries, strategy alignment, and execution
  • Maintain and update account plans in Salesforce
  • Execute growth strategies with Key Account Managers, Segment Managers, and Product Manager teams
  • Use the ITW 80/20 business model to increase sales force effectiveness and market share
  • Gather market intelligence and evaluate competitive products, pricing, and promotional execution
  • Provide internal insights to improve market positioning
  • Establish go-to-market approaches and tactical plans for new product introductions
  • Assess and reorganize distribution channels to optimize market penetration
  • Provide monthly Channel Partner reports and periodic strategic reports
  • Promote and adhere to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales and channel / distribution partner management
  • 5-10 years industrial (B2B) sales experience and channel management
  • Must be able to travel 60%-70% of the time
  • Proven track record of achieving organic growth targets with dedicated channel partners
  • Experience and ability to implement a nationwide Channel partner strategy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong listening and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify and collect data, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly grasp complicated situations
  • Strong organizational talent to coordinate business with Key Account Managers in specific regions
