About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute a multi-site quality strategy aligned with company goals and long-term growth initiatives
- Standardize quality systems, policies, and procedures across all facilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies
- Champion quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the division
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 / ISO 9001, GMP, EPA, OSHA, REACH, TSCA, and other applicable requirements
- Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely corrective actions
- Maintain site certifications, regulatory registrations, and compliance documentation
- Oversee CAPA processes, risk assessments, and quality system effectiveness
- Develop and monitor quality metrics and reporting systems
- Lead Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Strengthen supplier quality programs and ensure raw material compliance and performance
- Improve product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency
- Mentor and support site Quality Managers and QA/QC teams across multiple locations
- Create and support training and professional development programs
- Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Support new product launches through validation planning, risk assessments, and process readiness activities
- Promote environmental, health, and safety compliance
- Support additional business initiatives and projects as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of quality management experience within chemical manufacturing, including multi-site leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Advanced quality tools such as SPC, CAPA, and FMEA
- Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001, GMP, EPA, OSHA, REACH, and TSCA requirements
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvement
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
