About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation and evolution of the data platform based on Databricks / Data Fabric
  • Contribute to defining and evolving the data foundation architecture
  • Structure data ingestion flows and data models
  • Ensure data reliability, availability, and quality
  • Contribute to industrializing data processing and use cases
  • Lead and coordinate flows between the various applications in the information system
  • Rationalize existing exchanges and evolve integration mechanisms
  • Coordinate vendors, system integrators, and technical teams
  • Structure and harmonize the Group’s key master data repositories
  • Define data management and data quality rules
  • Support business teams in identifying and prioritizing their needs
  • Scope, plan, and monitor Data Engineering projects and enhancements
  • Coordinate business, IT, vendor, system integrator, and external partner teams
  • Directly manage three external resources working within the Data scope
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, decisions, and action plans
  • Produce progress reports and ensure communication with stakeholders
  • Participate in discussions with Group teams to ensure alignment with international standards
  • Support the industrialization of data and reporting use cases
  • Contribute to populating and improving the reliability of data used in Power BI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education degree in computer science, information systems, or data-related disciplines
  • At least 7 years of experience in Data Engineering
  • Proven hands-on experience with Databricks is essential
  • Good knowledge of Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data flows, master data repositories, and application integration
  • Experience managing projects and external resources
  • Ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
  • Self-directed, pragmatic, and well organized
  • Service-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to drive complex initiatives forward
