About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist customers with transportation and logistics services under close supervision
  • Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles
  • Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, Customer Value Delivery, logistics management and analysis, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination
  • Develop understanding of industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention
  • Perform account-specific duties as required by customers
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college, or university
  • Must be able to work 20–25 hours per week during the school semester
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (preferred)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (preferred)
  • Junior or Senior level preferred
  • GED or high school education required
