Key responsibilities & impact

Participate as a member of a data science team
Apply technical knowledge to interpret business questions and requirements
Work independently and in groups to resolve highly complex technical issues
Partner with team members across IT and various business domains
Identify design, implementation, and solution support risks and proactively alert management and technical leads
Brainstorm, evaluate, and implement solutions to current and anticipated future business problems
Develop solutions using statistics, machine learning, and AI to address complex business and operational problems
Derive and communicate meaningful insights to business partners
Develop and deploy automated solutions that create business value
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives and engage with company partners and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required
Master's or Doctorate (PhD) preferred
Strong understanding of analytical, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques
Strong understanding of standard data science and AI methodologies
Experience in scripting and/or programming languages, especially Python
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience designing and implementing analytics applications
High level of initiative and integrity
Creative ability, consulting skills, credibility, and self-confidence
Experience and comfort with in-person collaboration and working effectively with remote and geographically dispersed teams
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions
Industry experience and/or training preferred, but not required
