About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive the success of multiple financial products to create value for new and existing Jackson Hewitt customers
Conduct analyses and provide strategic planning for financial product direction, features, business plans, and project plans
Monitor and evaluate program performance and market conditions to maximize revenue opportunities
Translate strategic direction into project plans and projected economics
Develop comprehensive project plans covering goals, strategy, resources, deadlines, risks, and contingency plans
Assign, coordinate, and manage deliverables across Product, Marketing, Technology, Legal, Training, and Operations teams and external partners
Establish measurement standards and reporting procedures for project updates to the Product team and senior executives
Evaluate program performance and initiatives to identify product enhancements or changes
Develop and update business plans, including market, competitive, industry, business development, partner, marketing, sales, and growth strategies
Collaborate with management and external partners to understand the market
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consumer financial services industry
Strong project leadership skills
Strong understanding of P&L management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present to various audiences
Ability to synthesize opposing opinions and priorities, resolve conflicts, and develop a clear path forward
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, integrity, and sound business judgment
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years old
