About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the end-to-end performance of the Field Marketing Event team and retail partnerships with Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, and Costco
  • Recruit, interview, and hire Field Marketing Representatives
  • Monitor job applications in an ATS, build talent pipelines, generate referrals, and source talent in the field
  • Design and run onboarding and training programs covering product knowledge, lead generation techniques, and Jacuzzi standards
  • Coach representatives through training, store visits, and one-on-ones
  • Build schedules and coverage plans to maximize lead generation
  • Set and manage KPIs including leads captured, lead quality, demo rate, store coverage, and event performance
  • Review team performance and translate trends into coaching plans, training topics, event adjustments, and staffing decisions
  • Manage relationships with Big Box vendor locations, store managers, department leads, and associates
  • Manage day-to-day performance of stores in the assigned territory with weekly and monthly lead-generation targets
  • Deliver and develop product knowledge and lead-generation training materials for store associates
  • Identify underperforming stores and design intervention plans involving training, staffing, merchandising, and event support
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Installation teams to improve lead conversion and customer experience
  • Forecast and budget field activity spend, event costs, and staffing against expected returns
  • Drive revenue growth by prioritizing high-ROI stores and events
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
  • Maintain accurate reporting in CRM and lead management systems for pipeline visibility and forecasting integrity

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, trade marketing, events, retail program management, lead generation, or big-box partnership management
  • 2+ years managing and developing a team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth in a retail or in-store environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret lead, sales, and conversion data and translate it into a business narrative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Comfort with CRM and lead management platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to executive-level retail partners
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to stores within the assigned territory
  • Direct experience working with The Home Depot, Lowe’s, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, Costco, or another national big-box retail partner highly preferred
  • Background in home improvement, home services, or another consultative, lead-driven sales model preferred
  • Preferred experience developing event-based or in-store lead generation programs from inception
