About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support delivery of new data models in a modern technology stack
Collaborate with stakeholders across business areas to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions
Develop existing data models in line with Product and Engineering needs
Uphold data governance standards
Support BI and Analytics teams with key data sources for their deliveries
Work closely with technology and business teams to deliver and maintain data assets in Snowflake
Ensure data assets follow best practices and support business continuity

Requirements

What you’ll need

SQL knowledge, including CTEs and window functions
Experience writing performant queries, preferably in Snowflake
Experience using transformation tools; Coalesce.io preferred, with dbt also applicable
Experience modelling structured and unstructured data
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally in a start-up/scale-up
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with data quality frameworks
Familiarity with finance, credit and associated reporting
Experience working with Product and Engineering teams
Knowledge of testing standards and version control
Experience with orchestration
