About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide hands-on Tier 0 and Tier 1 IT support
- Support employee onboarding and ensure new employees have the required tools and software
- Manage inventory of IT assets including key fobs and MacBooks
- Ship, receive, and replace laptops
- Support in-office technology setups
- Coordinate device repairs with the asset management vendor
- Assign and troubleshoot hardware and software licenses
- Use AI tools and agents to resolve routine IT requests
- Document IT processes and improve the knowledge base
- Contribute workflow and process improvement ideas
- Deliver timely, clear, friendly internal customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting Mac devices; environment is 100% Mac-based
- Exposure to or proficiency with Google Workspace and workplace productivity tools such as Slack, Notion, and Okta is helpful
- Strong interest in IT through professional IT experience or general technical support
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Experience with or interest in knowledge management and documentation
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and grow
- Experience in a support or customer-facing role is a plus
- Ability to use AI tools to get things done, with examples
- Must currently live in Canada and have legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
- Must be able to work without relocation, visa sponsorship, or third-party/employer-of-record employment
