About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a portfolio of complex, integrated mission environment programs across multiple U.S. locations
  • Establish program strategy, execution plans, governance structures, performance metrics, and operating rhythms
  • Maintain executive-level accountability for program cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction
  • Direct multiple concurrent project managers and ensure consistency in execution and delivery standards
  • Integrate design, engineering, construction, technology, fabrication, installation, communications, and other capabilities into cohesive customer solutions
  • Manage program-level schedules, budgets, milestones, resource plans, and performance objectives
  • Identify program risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, regulations, quality standards, and company policies
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery, operational efficiency, and customer experience
  • Serve as senior executive point of contact for government, military, prime contractor, and industry customers
  • Lead executive-level program reviews, briefings, status meetings, and performance discussions
  • Translate customer mission objectives into actionable program strategies
  • Resolve complex customer issues and facilitate cross-organizational decisions
  • Own program financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, forecast, backlog, and cash flow
  • Support proposal development, pricing strategy, capture activities, and business development initiatives
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across program management, architecture and engineering, design, construction, technology/A/V, digital experiences, fabrication, communications, data, logistics, and site operations
  • Establish clear interfaces, responsibilities, deliverables, and handoffs among internal teams and external partners
  • Ensure solutions are technically sound, constructible, operationally practical, and aligned with customer mission

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years in program/project management roles of increasing scope and P&L accountability
  • 5+ years specifically leading multi-site, multi-disciplinary programs
  • Direct experience managing programs with government/DoD customers, ideally $10M–$50M+ in annual program value
  • P&L / program financial management, including forecasting, backlog, and gross margin; EVM familiarity a plus
  • Direct supervision of other project/program managers
  • Executive stakeholder management, including briefing general officers, SES civilians, or C-suite equivalents
  • Risk management and governance structure design for complex programs
  • Working knowledge of federal contracting, including FAR/DFARS exposure, FFP, T&M, and CPFF contract types
  • Cross-functional team leadership across design, engineering, construction, and technology functions
  • Proposal/capture support experience
  • Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field
  • PMP, DAWIA Level II/III in Program Management preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
