About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set and drive technical direction for Customer Experience Predictive Algorithms, Performance Optimization, and Analytics and Insights teams
- Collaborate with CX Suite Leads to create value-focused technical roadmaps
- Own budget and resource allocation across capabilities and teams
- Translate product roadmaps into scalable technology architectures and development plans
- Assess AI solution impact and value, design solution architectures, and develop prototypes and pilots as needed
- Ensure technical planning supports consistent KPI frameworks, governed measurement, and decision-ready analytics
- Lead development of consolidated insights, enterprise reporting, digital analytics, in-house marketing mix, and predictive analytics products
- Ensure development best practices and responsible, ethical AI practices are followed
- Partner on workforce planning, capability development, and operating model evolution
- Manage vendor partners and ensure quality delivery aligned with objectives
- Act as primary technical accountability point for Customer Analytics & Insights and Performance Analytics & Optimization suites
- Coordinate roadmap dependencies, integrations, and architectural decisions with technical and platform teams
- Partner with Suite Leads and business teams to shape product experience and translate user needs into scalable solutions
- Represent technical architecture, platforms, and delivery considerations in domain, cross-suite, and executive forums
- Align shared data infrastructure, integration standards, and AI/ML enablement across teams
- Lead resolution of technical cross-team issues affecting performance or adoption
- Develop people managers and foster collaboration, inclusion, belonging, and high performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related technical field preferred
- 10+ years of experience after Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of experience after Master’s degree, in data engineering, technical data/analytics architecture, or enterprise platform delivery management
- 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Python and R for advanced analytics and AI, including cloud data platforms such as Redshift and Snowflake
- 5+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Program Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar role managing a team of developers
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics, reporting, or modeling platforms such as Power BI, In-house Marketing Mix Solution, and Predictive Analytics Products
- Hands-on experience with Python and R for analytics and data engineering
- Experience with Redshift and Snowflake for data sourcing, transformation, and integration
- Experience guiding technical architecture within complex, matrixed organizations
- Experience using Agile and Product Operating Model principles
- Proven ability to lead and mentor development teams and technical leaders
- Extensive experience with predictive model development, design, explainability, deployment, monitoring, drift detection, retraining, and retirement
- Strong experience leading Analytics, Advanced Analytics, and AI development teams
- Experience evaluating AI solutions, designing MVPs/pilots, A/B testing, and defining success metrics
- Understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and modern engineering frameworks
- Experience designing scalable, secure, and compliant analytics and AI solutions
- Experience with enterprise digital platforms, business intelligence, analytics platforms, marketing mix solutions, and predictive analytics products
- Experience designing and governing enterprise analytics data models, including star schemas, semantic models, DAX/Power BI, KPI definitions, and reusable datasets
- Experience delivering enterprise reporting solutions using development standards, CI/CD practices, quality gates, data contracts, refresh SLAs, lineage, and metric consistency
- Strong knowledge of system integration patterns, APIs, and data architecture
- Experience working within Agile product development teams and product operating models
- Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Technical program management capabilities and vendor relationship management
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, including resource planning, performance management, and talent development
- 10-20% travel required
