About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives
  • Partner with senior leaders and RDFLT members to translate business priorities into people strategies
  • Provide thought leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership capability
  • Advise and coach senior leaders on complex people and organizational matters
  • Develop organizational insight and translate business strategy, priorities, and customer needs into people priorities
  • Work across the HR operating model and matrix team to deliver functional projects and programs
  • Partner with senior leaders on organizational redesign and future capability planning
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, including reorganizations and M&A activity
  • Partner with COEs to champion organizational values, employee engagement, and change initiatives
  • Execute business-driven talent management processes and follow up on talent review outcomes
  • Collaborate with global HR teams and identify process improvements and best practices
  • Use data, metrics, and evidence to inform decision-making and drive change

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Progressive HR partnership experience with accountability for partnering, coaching and influencing senior leaders
  • Experience across performance management, reward, talent acquisition, organizational development, and change management
  • Strong business acumen and experience leading organizational transformation, change, and influencing senior leaders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, changing priorities, and high-volume work
  • Strong process orientation and project management skills
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence, advise, and coach senior leaders
  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving ability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, and management presence
  • Experience working within a global organization, with a focus on matrix teams and projects
  • In-depth US, UK, or EU HR knowledge
  • Ability to handle, interpret, and leverage data to inform decisions and solutions
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR systems, preferably Workday
  • Intellectual curiosity and aptitude to leverage AI to create value and unlock capacity within the HR team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or related discipline is required
  • Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences experience strongly preferred
  • R&D support experience preferred
  • HR professional certification preferred
