About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with client stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into actionable technical solutions
Recognize when a client's stated ask is not the right fit
Own high-level estimates and review detailed estimates from development, QA, and architecture partners
Produce solution documentation, including business and functional requirements and wireframes
Create client-facing Statements of Work and proposals
Present solution approaches to clients and internal stakeholders
Provide technical mentorship to junior teammates
Identify opportunities to expand work with the client based on unmet business needs
Own the solution design process from initial discovery through project kickoff
Manage priorities independently while partnering with Solution Analysts, Architects, and Developers

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical solution design
Proven experience working directly with clients, in person and remotely, to shape technical solutions
Experience self-managing priorities and translating ambiguous or incomplete requirements into practical, well-documented solutions
Strong understanding of system architecture concepts, including integration, modernization, and scalability
Ability to weigh in on architecture decisions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Preferred: 8+ years of hands-on technical experience on software delivery teams
Familiarity with generative AI
Experience working with automotive OEMs
Experience with enterprise integration or application modernization projects, including APIs and legacy-to-cloud migration
Experience with SQL and databases
Experience with Java and Golang (Go)
Experience writing SOWs, proposals, or estimates in a professional services or consulting environment
Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members
