About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Investigate operational alerts and service degradations
- Fine-tune monitoring parameters and apply minor adjustments to sustain network health
- Address routine Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity issues and service requests
- Resolve and escalate issues when necessary
- Carry out approved configuration updates
- Compile performance metrics and maintain records of changes and system states
- Organize recurring operational findings
- Contribute to scheduled maintenance windows and assist with upgrade activities
- Work with senior analysts and team members to validate corrective actions
- Streamline workflows and uphold security and compliance standards
- Analyze network performance and identify patterns to support reliability and service availability
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year related work experience
- Strong command of networking principles, including core technologies, protocol interactions, and enterprise network architectures
- Practical knowledge of VLAN segmentation
- Knowledge of Spanning Tree Protocol for loop prevention
- Foundational routing protocol knowledge such as EIGRP or OSPF
- Proficiency using command-line interfaces on major network platforms for diagnostics, configuration review, and secure changes
- CompTIA Network+ Certification - CompTIA or
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in related field
- Preferred: 3 years related work experience
- Intermediate to advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting expertise
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with enterprise-grade DDI environments, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management
