About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide remote supportive care for patients requiring additional monitoring or assistance
  • Promote quality patient care, comfort, and a safe environment in collaboration with the Registered Nurse
  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, patients, families, and other staff consistent with Jefferson’s values
  • Recognize patients’ and families’ preferences, priorities, needs, cultural beliefs, and values when providing care
  • Communicate with and support the interprofessional team, patient, family, and designated care partners
  • Provide safety observation for assigned patients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Behavioral Health Sciences interest preferred
  • Part-time availability for day shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
