About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the strategic leader and P&L owner of the Interior Doors business
  • Define and execute the product portfolio strategy
  • Drive profitable margin enhancement and revenue growth
  • Strengthen market leadership and deliver market-driven solutions
  • Lead Product Line Managers and Associate Product Line Managers
  • Own the Interior Doors portfolio P&L, including revenue growth, profitability, pricing strategy, mix optimization, and investment prioritization
  • Develop and execute the long-term business strategy and product roadmap across all channels and customer segments
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product strategies
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify emerging opportunities, unmet customer needs, and shifts in market demand
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the stage-gate process from concept through commercialization
  • Prioritize product development investments
  • Ensure new product initiatives have value propositions, financial justification, customer requirements, and launch plans
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to implement new products, features, material changes, and manufacturing improvements
  • Build partnerships across Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain
  • Provide product expertise for major customer opportunities, strategic negotiations, line reviews, and commercial initiatives
  • Mentor and develop Product Line Managers and Associate Product Line Managers
  • Establish expectations, development plans, and succession strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Product Line Management, Marketing, Business Leadership, or related commercial functions
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success managing complex product portfolios and driving profitable growth
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, pricing strategy, portfolio management, and new product development processes
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or durable goods environment
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning capabilities
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational alignment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Preferred: MBA or advanced business degree
  • Preferred: Experience within building products, doors, windows, millwork, construction materials, or related industries
  • Preferred: Experience managing large-scale product launches and commercialization efforts
  • Preferred: Expertise in stage-gate product development methodologies
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, VAVE, and portfolio optimization practices
