About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support inventory accounting and financial reporting activities across all company locations
  • Process and reconcile cycle count transactions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure inventory record accuracy
  • Process inventory adjustments and validate entries in accounting and ERP systems
  • Process daily End of Day activities, including finalization and validation of customer invoices
  • Execute and monitor daily and monthly jobstreams and automated reporting processes
  • Create, validate, and import SAP journal entries for daily inventory removal transactions
  • Compile operational and accounting data and prepare the Daily1 report for ABS management
  • Review inventory transactions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Assist with month-end and year-end inventory accounting and financial reporting close activities
  • Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, customer service, and accounting personnel to resolve discrepancies
  • Provide administrative support through report generation, document management, and system maintenance
  • Identify process improvement, efficiency, and data accuracy opportunities
  • Perform additional Accounting Department tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an office, administrative, accounting support, or business environment required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high degree of accuracy in data entry, reporting, and transaction processing
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment, including scanners, copiers, printers, and related business technology
  • Ability to learn and utilize accounting, inventory management, and reporting systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive business information appropriately
  • Commitment to following established procedures, internal controls, and company policies
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred
  • Inventory, accounting, financial reporting, or data processing experience is a plus
