About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform general production tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
Prepare vinyl lineals for production using a lamination process
Saw and machine vinyl and metal using CNC saws and mills for window and door assembly
Assemble windows and patio doors
Assist co-workers in analyzing and correcting problems encountered in job assignments
Perform work according to standard operating procedures
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly fashion
Stand and walk for 10 hours per day
Perform other tasks assigned by the Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Stable work history
Preferred 2–3 years of manufacturing experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven problem-solving and organization skills
Ability to work in a team environment with a diverse workforce
Basic conflict resolution skills
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
Ability to lift 25–50 pounds regularly and occasionally team-lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work overtime as required
Must wear appropriate PPE and maintain a safe working environment
Ability to read a tape measure to within 1/32 of an inch
Ability to understand quality standards and perform inspections of raw material, WIP, and finished goods
Ability to read and understand paperwork and labels associated with production schedules
Ability to meet production rates
