About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Inspect incoming loads
- Check shipping documents for correct customer information
- Operate propane and electric forklift vehicles
- Perform start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections
- Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
- Pick/pull product from racks
- Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Perform material preparation and material handling
- Stage and package finished product for delivery
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
- Report to the Warehousing/Warehouse Manager
- Work the day shift
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required
- Ability to operate propane and electric forklift vehicles
- Ability to perform start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections
- Ability to inspect incoming loads and check shipping documents
- Ability to load semi-trucks and box trucks
- Ability to pick/pull product from racks
- Ability to assist in inventory cycle counts
- Ability to perform material preparation and material handling
- Ability to stage and package finished product for delivery
- Ability to occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to occasionally move stock, materials, and unfinished and finished product
- Ability to work in an environment with fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noises
