About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maneuver trucks within the parking lot
- Place empty trailers in docks from the yard, or move trailers from the yard to dock doors as needed and directed
- Inspect incoming loads
- Check shipping documents for correct customer information
- Operate propane and electric forklift vehicles ("hi-lo")
- Perform start-of-shift preventative maintenance inspections
- Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed
- Prepare and handle materials
- Stage and package finished product for delivery
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
- Work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demands
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to occasionally team lift anything exceeding 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime as needed to satisfy customer demands
- Ability to operate propane and electric forklift vehicles
- Ability to maneuver trucks within the parking lot
