About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Directly manage a General Ledger Manager, Treasury Manager and Senior Accountant
Invest in the long-term professional development and performance improvement of the broader team
Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate US GAAP-compliant financial reporting
Manage financial statement consolidation for multiple entities, including foreign currency translation and intercompany accounting and eliminations
Manage and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee treasury and cash management across multiple banking platforms
Support the annual and interim US audit
Participate in financial integrations of domestic and foreign subsidiaries
Contribute to accounting system upgrades and reorganizations through end-to-end testing
Research technical accounting topics and draft internal accounting memos
Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Finance, and FP&A groups
Develop and implement more efficient procedures
Provide ad hoc reporting and projects for management and external contacts
Assist leadership with process improvements focused on US GAAP compliance and reducing audit risk

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS in Finance, Accounting or related field of study
CPA highly preferred
7+ years of applicable experience
Preferably 2+ years in management
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus
Ability to shift priorities and meet strict deadlines
Proven, demonstrated leadership
Effective communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
