About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deliver improvements to websites, quote-and-buy journeys, CRM and customer technology
- Work with external developers to define requirements, coordinate projects and test releases
- Improve system integrations, reduce manual processes and streamline customer journeys
- Research new technologies and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support website tracking, GA4, attribution and data quality
- Build and maintain dashboards covering website performance, quotes, conversions, policies, revenue and marketing results
- Investigate data gaps and resolve issues with specialists and the group data team
- Develop data infrastructure, analytics and reporting capability in-house
- Identify friction points and opportunities to improve online conversion
- Coordinate A/B testing, heat mapping and session-recording experimentation
- Turn digital insights into measurable improvements with marketing teams and external partners
- Explore and test AI tools, automation platforms and emerging technologies
- Build prototypes and automations to reduce repetitive tasks and improve customer and colleague experiences
- Support marketing technology, campaign tracking, automation and customer communications
- Follow security, data protection and responsible AI standards
- Build relationships with developers, agencies, data specialists and technology suppliers
- Coordinate project activity, monitor delivery and keep projects on track
- Document processes, share knowledge and embed new tools and ways of working
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working with digital platforms, websites or web technologies
- Working knowledge of GA4 or similar analytics and reporting tools
- Interest in data, tracking, attribution and understanding digital performance
- Practical problem-solving mindset and confidence investigating issues and finding solutions
- Interest in AI, automation, experimentation and emerging technology
- Good communication skills and ability to work with colleagues and external partners
- Proactive approach and commercial awareness
- Genuine desire to develop skills
- Experience in insurance or another regulated industry would be helpful but is not essential
- Willingness to learn and ability to work in detail
- Technical curiosity and ability to get things done
