About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take great care of customers and identify coverage gaps, eligible discounts, and renewal increases
- Answer inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies
- Assist policyholders with policy changes
- Learn and recommend appropriate products from a large panel of insurance companies
- Develop deep knowledge of the Jerry app
- Solve problems and remove barriers to obtaining appropriate coverage
- Process service requests involving vehicles, drivers, lienholders, and policy documents
- Provide product feedback and help improve the customer experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required
- Genuinely friendly and positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Strong work ethic
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must currently reside in an eligible location: AZ, FL, GA, NV, NY, NC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for U.S.-based employment
- P&C insurance license is not required initially; Jerry.ai will pay for obtaining one if needed
