About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help customers manage their car and home insurance needs
- Take great care of customers and identify coverage gaps, eligible discounts, and renewal increases
- Answer inbound calls from customers shopping for auto, home, motorcycle, and other policies
- Handle policyholder change requests
- Learn the insurance product and match customers with suitable insurance companies
- Navigate and explain Jerry's evolving app
- Solve problems to remove barriers to appropriate coverage
- Process service requests involving vehicles, drivers, lienholders, and policy documents
- Provide product feedback and help improve the product
Requirements
What you’ll need- Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required
- Genuinely friendly and positive attitude
- Willingness to work as a team
- Strong work ethic
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Full-time hourly employees must currently reside in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia
- Valid P&C license queried during application; the posting states the company pays for the license if the applicant does not have one
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
