About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support customers with their auto, home, motorcycle, and other insurance needs
  • Answer inbound calls from prospective customers and policyholders
  • Recommend suitable insurance companies and coverage options
  • Learn and navigate Jerry’s insurance product and app
  • Identify coverage gaps, discounts, and renewal issues
  • Solve problems and remove barriers to appropriate coverage
  • Process service requests involving vehicles, drivers, lienholders, and policy documents
  • Provide feedback to improve the product and customer experience
  • Determine whether the employee is best suited for sales or service through the interview process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior work experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality is a plus, but not required
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Willingness to work as a team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must currently reside in an eligible location: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Ontario, Canada
  • Full-time hourly employee eligibility is limited to the listed U.S. states
  • Valid P&C insurance license is beneficial; candidates without one may obtain it with company support
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is requested in the application
