About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes through data-driven insights
  • Execute and own the month-end close process to a high degree
  • Partner with Accounting to support controllership priorities
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses
  • Create financial dashboards and KPI reports
  • Help oversee invoice, payment, and general ledger coding processes
  • Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources
  • Track departmental KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly
  • Evolve and support the company data dashboard
  • Develop data-analysis processes to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Provide insights into business drivers and downstream impacts
  • Identify operational inefficiencies
  • Support franchise performance evaluation using standardized metrics
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns and sales promotions using relevant metrics
  • Analyze customer acquisition costs, retention rates, and lifetime value
  • Create financial reports and visualizations
  • Build, refine, and expand custom financial reports and dashboards for unit and system performance
  • Collaborate with BI team members on stakeholder dashboards
  • Present complex data accessibly to non-technical audiences
  • Build financial models with cross-functional departments
  • Translate business questions into analytical financial frameworks
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to drive business decisions
  • Partner with department and executive leaders to align FP&A outputs with strategic priorities
  • Recommend and implement improvements to finance, accounting, data, and analysis processes
  • Identify automation and efficiency opportunities in reporting workflows

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or business intelligence
  • Advanced Excel
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, or similar data-modeling basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Qvinci, or Mindbody is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python, R, or similar programming languages is a plus
  • Experience in franchise, retail, or fitness industries is a plus
