About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the full lifecycle of organic social media programs across a portfolio of clients
  • Develop monthly and campaign-specific social strategies based on client goals, audiences, brand positioning, and performance
  • Build content calendars with themes, content pillars, formats, and objectives
  • Write platform-appropriate hooks, headlines, captions, and calls to action
  • Design static posts, carousels, educational content, event creative, and promotional assets
  • Concept and edit short-form video, including Reels and repurposed long-form content
  • Schedule and publish approved content on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Onboard new social media clients and accounts, including profile setup and account transitions
  • Coordinate client login access, platform permissions, Business Manager access, and user roles
  • Respond to urgent account actions, including time-sensitive publishing or content removal
  • Review monthly performance and translate data into recommendations
  • Maintain brand consistency, accuracy, and quality
  • Collaborate with Creative, Paid Media, SEO, Analytics, Project Management, and client-facing teams
  • Establish repeatable social workflows, templates, standards, and best practices
  • Independently manage assigned accounts from strategy and setup through publishing and reporting
  • Improve agency-wide social workflows, creative standards, reporting practices, and scalable processes
  • Report to the Creative Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional social media, content marketing, or related experience
  • Experience managing multiple brands or client accounts; agency experience strongly preferred
  • Strong social strategy and editorial planning skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, hierarchy, composition, spacing, and image selection
  • AI-assisted image or video production
  • Hands-on experience creating and editing short-form social video
  • Professional experience managing Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Experience setting up social accounts, managing user permissions, and coordinating client access
  • Experience analyzing organic social performance and turning results into actionable recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-QA work before review
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback, ask thoughtful questions, and apply revisions accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and workflows simultaneously
  • Ability to respond calmly and quickly to urgent social account needs
  • Positive, professional communication style and collaborative approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a remote team operating primarily on U.S. Central Time
  • Experience with Buffer or similar scheduling platform and Meta Business Suite
  • Experience with Canva; Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator is a plus
  • Experience with short-form video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, or Adobe Express
  • Experience with native social analytics and Google Analytics 4 or comparable tools
  • Experience with Google Sheets and/or Excel and ClickUp or similar project management tools
  • Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and AI-assisted creative platforms
  • Portfolio demonstrating direct contribution to recent professional social media work
  • Brownie points: TikTok, Reddit, X, Figma, After Effects or motion design, and healthcare industry exposure
  • Must be available to work until at least 2:00 PM U.S. Central Time each day
