About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support product development, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborate with global design centers and cross-functional teams to introduce new products, implement engineering changes, and improve product performance and reliability
  • Ensure manufacturing information aligns with global design standards and complies with AHRI, ASME, PED, ETL, and UL requirements
  • Lead product engineering activities for new product introductions
  • Implement engineering changes and maintain product documentation
  • Manage and update master data, bills of materials, and engineering drawings
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot design, quality, supplier, and process issues
  • Participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement
  • Propose and implement cost reduction projects to meet plant objectives
  • Evaluate and implement product improvements
  • Review material specifications and standards and manage deviation proposals
  • Provide feedback to the global design team based on factory assembly processes and manufacturing capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as Product Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of engineering change control processes, bills of materials, and drawing revisions
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications for mechanical and pressure components
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and control systems (electrical diagrams)
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to prioritize and execute projects effectively
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
  • Preferred: Operational knowledge of SAP or other ERP
  • Preferred: Experience with PTC Creo or other 3D design software
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Core Tools
  • Windchill PLM system knowledge is a plus
