About the role

  • Set up pipework and bend tubing
  • Calibrate instrumentation
  • Program channel configurations in the data acquisition system
  • Pull vacuum and charge systems
  • Diagnose DC and AC electrical circuitry, including single- and three-phase systems
  • Maintain lab function by servicing test blocks and associated components

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Understanding of the refrigeration cycle and its components, from technical training, education, or hands-on experience
  • Ability to wire motors and drives
  • Understanding of AC and DC circuitry
  • Capability of creating control circuits
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Associate’s degree from college or technical school; or 2+ years of related experience and/or training in refrigeration; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Internet software, and E-mail
  • Ability to occasionally lift no more than 50 pounds
  • US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident of the United States; sponsorship is not available
  • Refrigeration License (EPA 608) preferred
  • Knowledge of hot gas bypass loops preferred
