About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Unload, load, and palletize materials while assisting machine operators
  • Support setup of tooling and dies for brake presses
  • Maintain cleanliness around machines, tools, and equipment
  • Perform computer data entry
  • Ensure proper labeling of materials
  • Stack finished products according to manufacturing specifications for shipment
  • Assist in bending and cutting raw materials
  • Participate in waste reduction, team problem-solving processes, and quality maintenance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accurate reading of tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment
  • Ability to help set up, load, and unload machines and assist machine operators within the Fabrication Department
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints (preferred)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling
  • Ability to lift and move materials within required safety guidelines
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • Prescreen assessment required
