About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee delivery of multiple projects from ideation to completion using project management methodologies
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards
Define, document, and implement project delivery methodologies focused on APQP, PPAP, and change management best practices
Enhance project execution within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification framework
Lead projects at manufacturing locations to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and External parts per million (EPPM) claims
Conduct structured root cause problem-solving activities, including 8D and Six Sigma
Use JIRA to track and manage project progress, quality resources, quality tasks, and milestones
Lead and inspire project quality team members and ensure efficient task execution
Conduct continuous project risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Facilitate post-project evaluations and feedback sessions for continuous improvement
Communicate project successes and lessons learned across functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering) or a similar technical discipline
Minimum 7-10+ years of related Quality experience in an ISO/TS certified manufacturing environment
At least 5+ years of prior project leadership experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques, including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Strength in resiliency and process-driven, process-oriented work
Experience implementing Quality standards and best practices
Strong leadership skills for managing diverse, distributed, and dynamic teams across multiple priorities
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Quality
Preferred: Six Sigma Certification Green/Black Belt (SSBB/SSGB)
Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Ability to travel 25% as needed to facility locations in North America and Europe
