About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Grow the healing/Wound Closure platform
- Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in operating room settings
- Manage an assigned sales territory covering physicians and hospital institutions
- Attain forecasts in assigned accounts and territories
- Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts
- Understand and demonstrate proper product use to clinicians in operating room environments
- Manage customer questions and objections consistently with product indications and sales training methodology
- Execute ethical, professional, concise, compliant, and persuasive sales cycles that lead customers to action
- Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods
- Analyze data and stay updated on market information
- Perform business planning
- Build customer relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, and authorized distributors
- Conduct customer education seminars as appropriate
- Comply with safe-behavior standards and demonstrate product, procedure, and clinical knowledge
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 1+ years of relevant business experience in medical sales (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology) or healthcare, demonstrating exceptional achievement of sales objectives
- A valid driver's license issued in the United States
- Preferred: Sales performance, account targeting, achievement through a daily action plan, collaboration with peers, marketing, Strategic Account Managers, distributor representatives, and KOLs
- Preferred: Strong time management and planning skills
- Preferred: Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device experience, including operating room sales, and product sales to a highly educated/high-profile customer base
- Preferred: Experience developing new, innovative markets
- Preferred: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Preferred: Team-oriented
