About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead overall national sales leadership, Marketing strategies, and Market Access and Pricing strategies for the Early Intervention platform
- Own the national sales strategy and lead execution to achieve Early Intervention sales objectives
- Establish business capabilities supporting long-term success of the Early Intervention business following separation from Johnson & Johnson
- Develop a long-term strategic vision and strategy to extend market leadership
- Lead market access and pricing strategies, including contracting, payor and large customer value propositions, engagement, advocacy and policy strategy
- Develop, mentor, lead and engage the Early Intervention Leadership team and their organizations
- Build, analyze, develop and implement the sales compensation framework and strategy
- Collaborate with Finance to build Gross, Net and Field Sales Business Plans
- Develop the Early Intervention expense budget and ensure sales and supporting activities remain within budget objectives
- Review overall business sales performance with Presidents, VPs of Sales and Area Vice Presidents, identify improvement areas and implement corrective action
- Build and maintain an inclusive organizational culture
- Lead and optimize direct and indirect sales organizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of Bachelor's level degree is required
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of five years of people leadership
- Pharmaceutical Sales, Marketing, and Market Access Leadership experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in Orthopedics is preferred
- Experience with direct-to-patient (DTP) and patient activation strategies is preferred
- Proven leadership capability, including the ability to lead through change
- Track record of success working within a large organizational environment; enterprise approach to decision-making
- Solid understanding of customer, business intelligence and industry trends
- Demonstrated leadership capability to manage a P&L and achieve revenue, profitability, and cash flow targets while supporting long-term business growth
- Strong business and financial acuity, including use of metrics/numbers to gauge overall performance
- Demonstrated track record as a Talent Champion in coaching, developing, retaining, acquiring and building a diverse pipeline of future talent
- Excellent listening, written, and oral communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to make presentations with positive results
- Up to 50% domestic travel required
