About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the clinical and technical expert for the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution (VRAS)
Lead VRAS installation and customer onboarding
Provide clinical and technical support during initial procedures
Work with surgeons and nursing teams during the Hypercare period for knee replacements
Build relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
Collaborate with Joints and Capital Sales teams to onboard customers
Support promotional activities at local and national congresses and events
Present VRAS solutions to NHS and private healthcare stakeholders
Manage installation logistics and technical service
Support VELYS accounts to drive usage and turn rates
Guide surgical teams through initial robotic procedures
Train hospital departments, including sterile processing and engineering teams
Train and support local teams so they can provide robotic case coverage independently
Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and robotic innovations
Support software updates and new product rollouts
Troubleshoot complex technical issues as the first line of service
Build lasting customer relationships throughout the robotic surgery journey
Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Digital Surgery partners
Report to the Regional Sales Manager
Work autonomously while contributing to team objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS is required
Aptitude in technical skills, technology systems, and administrative procedures
Exposure to medical or surgical software/digital technologies and/or capital equipment
Experience with joint reconstruction in hips/knees
Strong knowledge of knee arthroplasty
Interest in robotic-assisted technologies
Ability to travel up to 50%
Valid driver's license
Technical mindset with ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly in high-pressure situations
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Collaborative and proactive approach
