About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the clinical and technical expert for VRAS
Work directly with surgeons and nursing teams during the Hypercare period
Lead installation and onboarding of the VRAS system
Deliver clinical and technical support during initial procedures
Build relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
Collaborate with the Joints Team to onboard customers
Support promotional activities at local and national congresses and events
Present VRAS solutions to stakeholders across NHS and private healthcare
Manage installation logistics and provide technical service
Support VELYS accounts to drive usage and turn rates
Guide surgical teams through initial robotic procedures and share best practices
Deliver training to hospital departments, including sterile processing and engineering teams
Train and support local teams so they can independently provide robotic case coverage after Hypercare
Monitor industry trends, competitor products, and robotic innovations
Support rollout of software updates and product lines
Troubleshoot technical challenges as the first line of service for complex issues
Build lasting customer relationships and provide expert guidance throughout their robotic surgery journey
Represent the VELYS Robotic-Assisted Solution at local and national congresses and events
Collaborate with Field Service Engineers and Digital Surgery partners
Work autonomously while contributing to team objectives
Report to the Regional Sales Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS is required
Demonstrate aptitude in technical skills, technology systems, and administrative procedures
Exposure with Medical or Surgical software/digital and/or capital equipment
Experience with Joint Reconstruction in Hips/Knees
The ability to travel is required – up to 50%
Valid Driver’s license
Deep passion for orthopaedics and excitement for advancing surgical innovation
Technical mindset with ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly in high-pressure situations
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
Strong knowledge of knee arthroplasty and interest in robotic-assisted technologies
Collaborative and proactive approach
