About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute the EMEA communications strategy for the Surgery business unit, aligned to growth priorities and key milestones
  • Support innovation milestones, reputation strengthening, and stakeholder engagement across priority markets
  • Translate business priorities into clear, compelling communications campaigns
  • Execute integrated communications across media, executive, internal, and digital channels
  • Own channel management, including HOME, distribution lists, and newsletter development
  • Partner with Legal, Regulatory, Government Affairs, and global Media Relations teams to align communications activity and approvals
  • Manage relationships with local external agencies and freelancers
  • Use data and insights to improve effectiveness and leverage global reports
  • Operate effectively in a matrixed environment across business, functional, and regional teams
  • Build relationships with leaders, Marketing, and content sources
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, corporate affairs, or public affairs
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial businesses, preferably in healthcare, medtech, or regulated industries
  • Deep knowledge of the EMEA region and specific nuances
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Strong IT familiarity and willingness to learn new systems
  • Experience with external communication, internal communications, project communications, and stakeholder management
