About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define the end-to-end global supply chain configuration and related parameters, including decoupling points and replenishment strategies
  • Manage new product introduction planning
  • Ensure demand and net requirements propagation and align constrained end-to-end production and inventory plans in the monthly planning cycle using multi-echelon planning techniques
  • Participate in executive IBP processes and lead DSRM for the team portfolio
  • Resolve end-to-end issues, including allocation management and root cause analyses
  • Ensure supply continuity for the Synthetics Platform through orchestration across functions and nodes
  • Manage and supervise execution across all nodes with accountable counterparts in Plan, VCL, Source, MTO/PES, Deliver and Quality
  • Monitor business operations and key performance indicators, identify risks early, drive resolution of exceptions and maintain communications
  • Develop understanding of process risks, tolerance levels and tradeoffs to improve long-term resilience
  • Drive harmonized vertical and horizontal communications and connections to regional, global and supply IBP forums
  • Work with GPEX/JJT teams to define and develop digital tools supporting execution monitoring, such as control towers, batch trackers and digital twins
  • Lead a global team responsible for optimal end-to-end planning of a product portfolio across API, formulation/bulk, fill-finish, external manufacturing sites and key suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience and results in at least two of: manufacturing, global planning, S&OP/IBP, and/or supply chain management
  • Proven business experience in Supply Chain, including insight into End-to-End supply chain characteristics, Commercial and Finance, and in-depth understanding of financial processes
  • Experience with direct supervisory/team management
  • Demonstrated international/global experience combined with leadership and strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work across functions where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
  • Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and collaborate with people from different departments and all levels
  • Ability to work across all organizational levels and boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering
  • Experience in a multi-echelon supply chain preferred
  • Proficiency with SAP and/or OMP preferred
  • Supply Chain certification, such as APICS, preferred
  • Focus degree in engineering, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, finance or economics is a plus
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel required
