About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and deconstruct current product development and lifecycle maintenance processes to identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and speed
- Lead cross-functional teams to assess workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements
- Develop and implement strategies leveraging emerging technologies to streamline operations and improve productivity
- Utilize data analytics and AI tools to drive insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Lead initiatives optimizing processes that impact product development and lifecycle maintenance
- Cultivate a culture of innovation acceleration by sharing best practices and methodologies across the organization
- Monitor industry trends and technology advancements for potential R&D applications
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on progress, outcomes, and recommendations
- Counsel R&D leaders on opportunity spaces
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.) preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement roles, particularly within R&D, supply chain, or program management
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements in a matrixed organization
- Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing data analytics and AI technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across departments and with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
