About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive business growth in the assigned territory for the Oncology franchise
- Deliver budgeted sales objectives while adhering to organizational policies and supervisory guidance
- Take charge of assigned responsibilities as an entrepreneur
- Review and discuss monthly territory sales plans and seek ABM/FH guidance on sales strategy
- Schedule doctor calls and adhere to coverage plans and call frequency
- Map territory potential against market trends and competitor activity
- Profile, assess potential, target and enlist new doctors
- Use technology developments for effective field operations
- Achieve daily call averages with doctors and hospital pharmacies/purchase departments
- Collect distributor orders to ensure adequate market availability
- Conduct pre-call planning for effective HCP outcomes
- Build long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Business Leaders through scientific engagements
- Plan and execute scientific activities, including continuous medical education, with the medical affairs team
- Execute marketing campaigns for listed HCPs in the prescribed territory
- Submit stock, sales and other required statements accurately and on time
- Prepare and send daily electronic activity reports to the Area Business Manager
- Collaborate with internal and external partners for flawless execution
- Develop new markets through an out-of-the-box mindset
- Report to the Zonal Business Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.Pharma/B.Sc is Mandate
- Minimum Experience of 2 years or above
- Good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and MS tools
- Experience in Oncology space will be preferred
- Exposure to Hematology market will be an advantage
- Knowledge of business and procurement process
- Ability to drive business growth in an assigned territory
- Ability to maintain effective customer relations and collaborate with Health Care Practitioners
- Willingness to work in a field-based role
- MBA over and above will be preferred
