About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support manufacturing sites in Puerto Rico as Employee Health & Well-Being Site Lead
Manage a cross-functional health and well-being team at one site or multiple nearby sites
Provide Occupational Health Programs, Wellness & Health Promotion, and Employee Assistance Program promotion
Supervise part-time or contracted occupational health nurses, administrative staff, and occupational health technicians
Oversee health programs delivered by wellness, fitness, and employee assistance vendors
Implement EHW services locally using centrally developed strategies, resources, and tools
Provide nursing care for injuries and illnesses, occupational injury and illness case management, medical surveillance examinations, health education, and coaching
Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, recordkeeping requirements, and J&J global health standards
Lead local deployment of health and well-being strategy and coordinate healthcare, wellness, and mental health professionals
Drive improved health outcomes, reduced population health risks, and business outcomes
Deliver regional health metrics and outcomes
Improve efficiency and standardization of EHW resources, processes, procedures, and programs
Monitor site EHW performance and direct staff and wellness vendors
Provide technical assistance across campus locations
Review EHW performance and compliance with business leaders
Develop and meet site budget expectations with the EHW Campus Leader
Provide nursing services focused on injury and illness management, medical surveillance, employee accident case management, and disability management

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nurse
Current and non-restricted license of Puerto Rico
Occupational Health Nursing Certification / Puerto Rico Nursing College Collegiate
Supervision Skills
AED and CPR certifications
Hearing conservation and respiratory protection certifications
Occupational Health and Clinical Practice experience or equivalent healthcare experience
Fluent English communication skills
Inclusion into Bloodborne Pathogens program
Active participant of site Emergency Response Team
Willingness to travel to affiliates within Puerto Rico with previous notification
Availability for overtime and rotating shifts with previous notification
