About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define inventory decoupling points and develop replenishment strategies
  • Review and align supply chain parameters, including batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities and lead times
  • Develop and align constrained end-to-end production and inventory plans
  • Ensure accurate generation of requirements across the supply chain
  • Develop scenarios to avoid or resolve potential constraints
  • Align supply plans with demand plans and end-to-end supply chain configuration to meet inventory targets
  • Partner with Demand Planning on global demand hand-off and with SNP and PP&L on supply plan validation
  • Analyze exceptions and manage issues during monthly IBP cycles
  • Provide value stream management and value stream team insights into brand dynamics
  • Drive trade-off decisions to address supply chain imbalances and improve customer service
  • Validate inventory entitlement and MEIO modeling inputs and results
  • Identify and execute inventory optimization opportunities
  • Manage E&O targets, FBP inventory projections and quarterly inventory bridging analysis
  • Support NPI planning, phase-in/phase-out lifecycle management and annual portfolio segmentation
  • Assess supply capability for commercial scenarios, tenders and commercial events
  • Serve as Value Stream Team planning lead and single point of contact for assigned portfolios
  • Partner with VSTs, VSMs, LCMs, SCMs and Inventory Management on portfolio strategy and planning
  • Support planning teams and drive product-based planning across platforms
  • Implement end-to-end supply chain configuration and improvements to ensure patient supply and inventory targets
  • Track OTIF/service, inventory health and optimization, expiry and obsolescence metrics
  • Communicate business issues or opportunities to the next management level
  • Follow company health, safety, environmental, regulatory and compliance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required or relevant experience
  • Proven ability in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics is required
  • Plant supply planning experience is required, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering in a global environment
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply chain management, supply planning/master production scheduling, scenario analysis, IBP, and process excellence (Lean, 6sigma)
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment with rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft software packages, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to work with different time zones on an ad hoc basis
  • Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience in the Health Care Industry or related industries is strongly preferred
  • Proven business savviness in Supply Chain, Commercial and Financial areas is preferred
