About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define inventory decoupling points and develop replenishment strategies
  • Review supply chain parameters with sites, including batch sizes, make frequencies, safety stock levels, minimum order quantities and lead times
  • Develop and align constrained end-to-end production and inventory plans
  • Ensure accurate generation of requirements across the supply chain
  • Develop scenarios to avoid or resolve potential constraints
  • Align supply plans with demand plans and adhere to end-to-end supply chain configuration and inventory targets
  • Partner with Demand Planning on Global Demand Hand-Off
  • Partner with SNP and PP&L in Supply Plan Validation
  • Analyze exceptions and manage issues
  • Provide VSM and VST insights into brand dynamics for each IBP cycle
  • Drive trade-off decisions with business partners to address supply chain imbalances
  • Validate inventory entitlement and MEIO modeling inputs and results
  • Identify and execute inventory optimization opportunities
  • Manage E&O targets and inventory projections and bridging analysis
  • Support NPI planning, phase-in/phase-out lifecycle management and annual portfolio segmentation
  • Assess supply capability for demand scenarios, tenders and commercial events
  • Partner with VSMs, LCMs, SCMs and Inventory Management in LRPP, FBP, JU and NU business planning
  • Serve as Value Stream Team planning lead and single point of contact for assigned portfolios
  • Provide monthly IBP insights and support portfolio strategy
  • Drive product-based planning teams and supply chain improvements
  • Track OTIF/service, inventory health and optimization, expiry and obsolescence metrics
  • Communicate business issues or opportunities to management and ensure compliance with company, health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required or relevant experience
  • A minimum of proven ability in Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics is required
  • Plant supply planning experience is required, preferably in a multi-echelon supply chain
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering in a global environment required
  • Demonstrated experience with inventory management and inventory entitlement, supply chain management, supply planning/master production scheduling, scenario analysis, IBP, and process excellence (Lean, 6sigma) required
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist required
  • Strong communication, analytical and quantitative skills required
  • High proficiency with Microsoft software packages (Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Flexibility to accommodate working with different time zones
  • Manufacturing, Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience in the Health Care Industry or related industries strongly preferred
  • Proven business savviness in Supply Chain, Commercial and Financial areas preferred
