About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist engineers with design, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities
- Support CAD modeling and implement simple design updates under guidance
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and summarize results for engineering teams
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, and test reports
- Support manufacturing, laboratory, or shop floor activities as needed
- Participate in team meetings and present project progress and findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Gain practical experience in product development and manufacturing environments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering fields
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher across all college coursework
- Demonstrated understanding of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving methodologies
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student throughout the duration of the Co-Op assignment
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require employment visa sponsorship at application or in the future
- Students on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT generally do not meet program requirements unless eligible for an alternative long-term status without company sponsorship
