About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide physician and hospital staff training
- Provide procedural case coverage to ensure safe and effective use of medical devices
- Support peripheral and coronary interventional procedures during pre-market and post-market product development
- Support clinical studies through device training, case support, and timely data collection
- Present clinical study training materials based on investigational plans, including study protocols, instructions for use, core lab manuals, and case report forms
- Manage key study investigators and maintain relationships with medical advisors and clinical leaders
- Partner with clinical research colleagues on site retraining, timely database locks, and resolution of critical issues
- Manage territory travel and budgets
- Perform administrative activities and other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business, science, nursing or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience directly supporting interventional or surgical procedures within a hospital setting OR 1 year of industry, hospital-based life sciences, or sales support experience
- Working knowledge of clinical research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials
- History of effective collaboration with regulatory agencies through clinical studies and market releases
- Product knowledge including product vigilance and medical device reporting
- Computer skills, including MS Office, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Finance and budgeting knowledge
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good prioritization and organizational skills
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial “hands-on” experience and proactive “can do” attitude
- Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams and independently
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to operate with flexibility as requirements change
- Ability to sit continuously for prolonged periods, more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day
