About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, service, and repair medical device equipment in external facilities
  • Function as a primary resource for stakeholders
  • Provide frequent status updates and documented service reports
  • Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities to factory specifications
  • Ensure installation, maintenance, and other necessary work is completed on time
  • Identify problems and recommend resolutions for existing products and procedures
  • Analyze service data to schedule proactive and reactive service
  • Collaborate with colleagues for knowledge and skills transfer
  • Maintain trunk inventory and preserve calibrated test equipment and electronic devices
  • Cover Eastern New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associates Degree or Technical Certification required (Electronics, Bio-Medical, Optical, Mechanical)
  • At least 2 years related experience is required
  • Ability to operate and maintain a corporate vehicle
  • Ability to lift or move 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time
  • Ability to utilize hand tools and electronic test equipment to repair medical lasers and other medical devices
  • Ability to acclimate to modified schedules
