About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve sales goals for the Immunology portfolio by delivering market share growth and other key metrics within the assigned geography
- Execute franchise and company brand strategies and tactics for physicians, hospital and clinic specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers
- Influence healthcare decision makers through clinical and business expertise, effective selling skills, targeted sales messages, approved medical reprints, and therapeutic discussions
- Execute local marketing strategies and cultivate relationships with key decision makers in healthcare provider systems
- Gain access to and sell promoted products in targeted Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology teaching institutions, hospitals, and clinics
- Establish long-term business relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
- Coordinate academic sales strategies with teammates to maximize sales within assigned institutions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies for Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders
- Develop, implement, and evaluate business plans for assigned institutions
- Champion collaboration across internal and external marketplace stakeholders
- Maintain call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, communications, scientific convention representation, and educational programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of eight (8) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech or medical device sales experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of specialty sales experience
- A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States
- Willingness to travel, including possible weekend and/or overnight travel
- Ability to drive product access, acceptance and usage in targeted academic accounts
- Understanding of process flow for IV and subcutaneous products
- Ability to create, implement and evaluate strategies for Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate business plans for assigned institutions
- Ability to collaborate across the marketplace internally and externally
- Ability to maintain call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, written and oral communications, and company representation at scientific conventions and educational programs
- Preferred: working knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations
- Preferred: working knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology
- Preferred: experience managing complex reimbursement issues
- Preferred: Management Development courses, project-oriented selling experience, high-incentive and individual-performance culture experience, and documented successful sales performance
- Learning aptitude toward AI and emerging technologies
