About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve sales goals for the Immunology portfolio by delivering market share growth and other key metrics
- Execute franchise and company brand strategies and tactics within the assigned customer segment and geography
- Influence physicians, hospital specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare decision makers through clinical and business expertise
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved medical reprints
- Discuss therapeutic strategies with healthcare providers
- Execute local marketing strategies and leverage company resources
- Cultivate relationships with key decision makers within healthcare provider systems
- Gain access to and sell promoted products in targeted Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology teaching institutions, hospitals, and clinics
- Establish long-term business relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
- Coordinate academic sales strategies with teammates to maximize institutional sales
- Create, implement, and evaluate institution-specific strategies and business plans
- Maintain administrative and reporting functions
- Represent the company at scientific conventions and conduct educational programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of eight (8) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech or medical device sales experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of specialty sales experience
- A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States
- Willingness to travel, including possible weekend and/or overnight travel
- Ability to drive product access, acceptance and usage in targeted academic accounts
- Understanding of process flow for IV and subcutaneous products
- Ability to create, implement and evaluate strategies for Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders
- Ability to develop, implement and evaluate effective business plans for assigned institutions
- Ability to collaborate across the marketplace, internally and externally
- Ability to maintain call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, written and oral communications, and company representation at scientific conventions and educational programs
- Working knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations preferred
- Working knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology preferred
- Prior experience managing complex reimbursement issues preferred
- Learning aptitude toward AI/technology and emerging tools preferred
