About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve sales goals for the Immunology portfolio by delivering market share growth and other key metrics in the assigned geography
  • Execute franchise and company brand strategy and tactics within assigned customer segments
  • Influence healthcare decision makers and influencers through clinical and business expertise and effective selling skills
  • Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved medical reprints
  • Discuss therapeutic strategies with physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
  • Execute local marketing strategies and leverage company resources
  • Cultivate relationships with key decision makers within healthcare provider systems
  • Gain access to and sell promoted products in targeted Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology academic institutions, hospitals, and clinics
  • Establish long-term business relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
  • Coordinate academic sales strategies with teammates to maximize sales
  • Create, implement, and evaluate institutional strategies and business plans
  • Maintain administrative reporting, expense accounting, communications, scientific convention representation, and educational programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic / biotech or medical device sales experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of specialty sales experience
  • A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States
  • Willingness to travel, including possible weekend and/or overnight travel
  • Ability to drive product access, acceptance and usage in targeted academic accounts
  • Understanding of process flow for IV and subcutaneous products
  • Ability to create, implement and evaluate strategies for Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Ability to develop, implement and evaluate business plans for assigned institutions
  • Ability to collaborate across the marketplace, internally and externally
  • Ability to maintain call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, written and oral communications, and company representation duties
  • Preferred working knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations
  • Preferred working knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology
  • Preferred experience managing complex reimbursement issues
  • Learning aptitude toward AI and emerging technologies
