About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support end-to-end analytical and AI enablement for DePuy Synthes global Commercial systems and operations
- Build and govern source-of-truth customer datasets, data definitions, quality monitoring, and reproducible logic
- Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
- Prototype and evaluate generative AI use cases with guardrails, human validation, and measurement
- Partner on analytics intake and prioritization for CRM and Commercial platforms
- Translate ambiguous business questions into hypotheses, analytical plans, and deliverables
- Define and standardize KPI frameworks and develop clean, usable data models
- Communicate data structure insights to leaders and cross-functional partners
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent, security, and AI governance policies
- Identify bias and fairness risks and propose mitigations
- Coach analysts on analytical rigor, SQL best practices, and experimentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or marketing/customer analytics, including hands-on CRM/lifecycle measurement
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs
- Experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer to build, automate, and optimize end-to-end data workflows
- Ability to clean, blend, and transform large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Strong knowledge of Orthopaedics products, procedures, and customer profiles
- Experience translating business questions into hypotheses, analytical approaches, and recommendations on optimal data structure
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence without direct authority
- Knowledge of CRM data privacy concepts, including consent, suppression, and PII handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create executive-ready materials
- Preferred: experience with Salesforce Life Science Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Movemedical, Tableau Server, Reltio, AWS, Snowflake, SAP, Redshift, Databricks, customer identity resolution, attribution, GenAI solutions, Power BI, Tableau, and semantic modeling
