About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide analytic insight supporting optimal deployment design and field resourcing
  • Champion performance metrics and continuous improvement for the Deployment Organization
  • Perform root cause analysis, lessons learned, process flow analysis, system workflow analysis, and design improvements
  • Use mapping and deployment software to develop new go-to-market approaches supporting business initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to optimize territory design and field force structure
  • Train Strategic Deployment Team members on territory design strategy and modeling capabilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams toward process improvement capabilities
  • Manage deployment-related data sources and territory mapping software
  • Develop policy and governance rules supporting field sales structures
  • Generate management-ready insights and analytics for strategic decision-making
  • Resolve field-based change requests in a timely manner
  • Develop and administer special projects improving analytics and field deployment capabilities
  • Prepare presentations and reports supporting sales leadership
  • Collaborate with customers and sales personnel to understand factors influencing optimal deployment designs
  • Summarize and interpret key findings and develop reporting tools providing actionable data to the field sales organization
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level
  • Follow Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned and needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required
  • An Advanced (MBA) degree is preferred
  • Minimum of six (6) years of business experience required
  • Discipline in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Incentive Compensation or Business Administration preferred
  • 2–4 years of experience in Sales Force Optimization (SFO), including deployment, targeting, alignment, and incentive compensation preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical experience and ability to interpret large data sources into business requirements required
  • Demonstrated ability to assess business impact across different functions required
  • Ability to plan and execute multiple projects concurrently required
  • Strict attention to detail and follow-up skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to perform in a team environment required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Strong data mining capability preferred
  • Experience with visual-based analytic software technologies such as Tableau and Qlik Sense preferred
  • Direct experience in field sales force design and/or operational support of a field selling organization preferred
  • Direct experience with process improvement preferred
  • Familiarity with medical device terminology preferred
  • Experience or familiarity with mapping software preferred
